You will here many terms while you search for a decent cdl training school like; "paid cdl training", "Free cdl training", "Company paid cdl training" etc. These type of catch phrases are designed to make you feel like you are getting something for nothing. In the trucking industry you will never get something for nothing! There is always a contract associated with any trucking school unless you pay cash for the training and that is just the way it is. Another good thing about a private trucking school is they often have job assistance and large trucking companies will hire from a reputable school. Avoid CDL mills that traing you for real cheap in a week and just give you a cdl. If you are a new and inexperienced truck driver it will be hard to find an initial job if you do not get trained by a recognized truck driving school.
